This event gives us the perfect platform to onboard developers into the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, showcase open-source tools, and connect with key stakeholders.💡 Our Goals This YearFor OSCAF 2025, we’re taking our presence to the next level with:🛠️ A dedicated Bitcoin Cash Smart Contract Workshop🎁 Onboarding new users with wallets, CashTokens, and BCH giveaways🧠 Spreading awareness on Bitcoin Cash as peer-to-peer money and open infrastructure🛍️ Sharing free BCH-branded swag, stickers, and learning kits🤝 Networking with developers, designers, and communities to explore integration opportunities🛠️ Bitcoin Cash Workshop: CashScript ArenaWe’re hosting a hands-on CashScript Arena Workshop to introduce open-source developers to smart contract development on Bitcoin Cash.Smart contracts can feel complex—especially for beginners—so we’re flipping the script: learn by hacking. Using the CashScript Arena, participants will break intentionally vulnerable contracts on the BCH mainnet to claim bounties and gain firsthand experience of how BCH smart contracts work.This session is perfect for curious developers, Web3 builders, and open-source contributors new to BCH. To support their journey, we’ll include beginner-friendly tutorials from Bitcoin Cash University and MrZwets’ YouTube channel, making the workshop accessible to all skill levels.Complete beginners are welcome — by the end of this session, participants will have practical knowledge, useful tools, and a launchpad to start building real-world apps with CashScript.📜 Our Legacy at Open Source FestivalBitcoin Cash Nigeria has been part of Open Source Festival since 2020.
